BITUFELT chips are bitumen asphalt chips treated with SBS to give the product high resistance to low temperatures. They are reinforced with a non-woven polyester reinforcement layer in various weights (150-180) - 200-250 g/m³. They are generally used for insulating roofs, foundations, bases, tanks, tunnels, and parking lots as a seepage and moisture barrier, especially in areas with low temperatures such as mountainous and highland areas.
